Here’s a Chance to Help a SNW Family Member

Hi,

There is a lady in our SNW family who needs help moving some things on Saturday, November 1st.

Here are the details:

She has mattresses, a couple of large boxes, a chest of drawers, a book shelf and a bunch of boxes.  It should all fit into one pickup load.

In her words, “It’s the 2 different locations that will be the worst of it.  Mom is off Gopher Canyon Rd and I am by ESC High, but we’re only moving less than a mile from where I am now to El Norte.  I don’t see it taking more than 1 1/2 hours driving and all.

We are looking for 3-4 guys, guys with their kids who would be willing to donate 2 hours of their time next Saturday morning to help this gal out.

The exact time for the move hasn’t been determined yet, but I think it would probably be in the morning after breakfast and before lunch.

So, I posted and e-mailed a request for 4 new people to help serve at the Holy Grounds cafe on Saturdays and I got four responses!  Well done!  I’ll be confirming with the individuals who responded and I’ll post something if we still need more.  It doesn’t look like we will, though.  This is fantastic!  Thank you, Lord, for willing ministry partners.

Thanks, too, to the 2 people who stepped forward to teach the 1st/2nd grade class on Saturday nights in July.  This is huge.

Holy Grounds Cafe Can Use Help

Hi Everyone,

Don’t you love the Holy Grounds Cafe?  I know I do.

We need 4 people who will volunteer to serve once a month for the next three months.  Full training is provided!

Here’s what we need

We need one person who can serve on 7/12, 8/9 and 9/6

We need one person who can serve on 7/26, 8/23 and 9/20

We need two people who can serve on 8/2, 8/30 and 9/27.

The time commitment is from 5:15-6:00 p.m.  Then you attend the service and come out to serve for about 30-45 minutes after the service is over.
