Come hear Chris Montelongo, with a video introduction by Mark Strauss, perform the powerful and transforming message of Mark’s Gospel “word-for-word.” The original “Gospel” did not refer to the written Bible, but to the oral proclamation of the words and deeds of Jesus. For most of church history, God’s people have received God’s Word by hearing it orally, rather than by reading it privately.
Please don’t forget that we are going to have a BBQ on the field after church on Sat PM for anyone who wants to stick around and eat and vist.
For only $3/person we are having burgers, chips, a drink and ice cream.
